Message to Responsible Breeders
This is a central place to advertise purebred puppies from all breeds.
As stated, this site is for responsible breeders only. To see what this means, please refer to the Code of Ethics.

If anyone has reason to believe that a person advertising here is not a Responsible Breeder, please notify site management.

We all know that there are many places puppy buyers can go for breeder referral and to find purebred puppies and dogs from show breeders or breed rescues, if they are so inclined.
The reason this site exists is to have a central place that can compete with the other (not necessarily responsible) breeder sites for search engine placement - a way to reach more potential puppy buyers who might not be looking specifically for a puppy from a responsible breeder.
It is also a place to combat the negative publicity about purebreds of recent times.

Getting favorable search engine placement is not easy. One of the primary measurements of how prominent a website is, and thus how close to the front of a search engine listing it should be, is the number of "backlinks". A backlink is a link from another site. Since there are very many sites for breeders, kennels and kennel clubs, in order for this undertaking to work, we need a lot of links to this site. So I urge and invite all of you to place a link to ShowDays Puppies from the other dog-related sites you are involved with. Below is a snippet of code for this purpose.
Note that we will be advertising this site through Google "Adsense" and other sources, which costs.

Types of Ads:
  • Litter or adult ad
  • On-going ad from a breeder
  • Listing for a regional breed club
    • In the listing for a club, you can have one line each for your breeders with dogs available, including contact info, and you can make changes as necessary. This is like a club "litter basket". (Each type allows one photo.)

    Please let us know when your puppies or adults are placed so we can remove your listing.

    Please address the following questions:
  • Your Name & a little about your background
  • Where the puppies are
  • Club Affiliation
  • Breed & Kennel Name
  • Date of Birth for litter or adult
  • Registry
  • Health Clearances
  • Pedigree - a brief note about the quality of the pedigree.
  • Restrictions - limited registration required? etc.
  • You can include ONE photo. Attach it to your email.
    • After the Puppies site is established, we expect there will be a small charge to cover the cost of advertising the site, etc. - not to exceed $20 for a three-month listing, hopefully less.

    In order to be counted as a backlink, the link must be easy for the search engine "spiders" to find - on the home page if possible, or on a page directly linked from the home page. For spiders to find your secondary pages, it is important to use an absolute link reference rather than a relative reference. This means
